He could have left and made plenty of money , but he decided to return to Green Bay to play with the Packers with a slightly, but not a lot, more affordable deal. He was offered a $48million four-year deal by the Packers however, it seems more like a two-year contract. But who knows, the Packers could always modify the deal with him and offer him an extension in the future.

Overall, I'd say this is in line with where Jones is expected to be. Jones is a top player and a playmaker for the Packers and Matt LaFleur's offense.
